A beautiful verse

Slms   A beautiful verse I received via email. It was so relevant it was like someone was having a conversation with me, I couldnt believe it was Quraanic ayat..what other treasures are in the Quraan that I dont know about?   الأنفال For, believers are those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a tremor in their hearts, and when they hear His signs rehearsed, find their faith strengthened, and put (all) their trust in their Lord. (2) Who establish regular prayers and spend (freely) out of the gifts We have given them for sustenance: (3) Such in truth are the Believers: they have grades of dignity with their Lord, and forgiveness, and generous sustenance. (4) Surat Al-Anfal   Mashallah, Subhanallah! :)   M4Life

DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?

Slms A Beautiful article emailed to me (source unknon)   :) M4Life       DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?   During   a marriage seminar, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?"   There was a large man sitting next to her so the presenter said,   "It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?" Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind. Here's the answer. EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies. Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love... Because it's happening TO YOU. People in love

Dont Worry, Be Happy!

The Rules for Being Human

The Rules for Being Human from   http://www.ummahunite.com/blogs_full.php?id=131 safeeyah | 2009-10-04 15:35:14   When you were born, you didn't come with an owner's manual; these guidelines make life work better. 1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's the only thing you are sure to keep for the rest of your life. 2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full- time informal school called "Life on Planet Earth". Every person or incident is the Universal Teacher. 3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of experimentation. "Failures" are as much a part of the process as "success." 4. A lesson is repeated until learned. It is presented to you in various forms until you learn it: then you can go on to the next lesson. 5. If you don't learn easy lessons, they get harder. External

Tensions mount again at al-Aqsa :: A third intifada?

Slms,   Please make dua for Palestine and Majid UL AQSA Channel Islam is dedicating all day today as AL QUDS day and have asked     the Ummah to recite  Surah Yaseen to help Palestine overcome their hardships and struggles!!!     Tensions mount again at al-Aqsa :: A third intifada? :: by Jonathan Cook (Wednesday, October 7, 2009) http://world. mediamonitors. net/content/ view/full/ 67099 "It is reported that a growing number of settler rabbis want the injunction against Jews praying at the compound lifted, adding to Palestinian fears that Israeli officials, rabbis, settlers and fundamentalists are conspiring to engineer a final takeover of the Haram al Sharif." Tension over control of the Haram al Sharif compound of mosques in Jerusalem’s Old City has reached a pitch unseen since clashes at the site sparked the second intifada nine years ago. Ten days of intermittently bloody clashes between Palestinians and Israeli security forces in Je

Ramadaan Realisations

Slms This Ramadaan has been particularly special for me. Having moved to the UK from South Africa 8 months ago, this was my first Ramadaan in this new place we have chosen for our Hijra - and how much we have learnt by moving away from home and experiencing a new city, a new country and starting a new life, Alhamdulillah I realise now how Islam is all about what YOU make it to be, how you create an Islamic "feeling", how you create an atmosphere of Islam and take it wherever you go - in your heart, thoughts and behaviour. Maybe back home it was so easy, and a sense of Islam was always there so I forgot. I forgot how I have to work hard to bring it alive so that I feel it wherever I go, Inshallah. I realise now how Ramadaan is all about what you make of it. Working in a corporate environment, being out the whole day, you could almost miss the Ramadaan spirit - unless your spirit at home captures it. Its what you create in your space that makes a Ramadaan. I used

FW: Let's Live the Life of an EAGLE...."

Bismillah Some inspiration.... Enjoy! Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, Not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain - reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results. Let's change to make a change!!! "If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results"

Proven Techniques for a Successful Positive Change this Ramadan

Proven Techniques for a Successful Positive Change   this Ramadan You CAN do it!!!   The Messenger of Allah Muhammad[peace be upon him] has said, " Almighty Allah says, 'I treat my slave (man) according to his expectations from Me, and I am with him when he remembers me. "Change" is the vogue today. "Change" is being chanted by the Presidents to rally up public support; "Change" is being demanded by the masses suffering due to skyrocketing fuel and commodity prices; "Change", a drastic one indeed, is what we are witnessing with awe in the global weather patterns. For Muslims, Ramadan is the prime time for change. This month dramatically alters our routines and schedules. From tight sleep schedules, to hunger for extended
